International Conference for the Establishment of Korea's national Sustainable Development Goals (K-SDGs)

Republic of Korea is working on developing the National Sustainable Development of Korea (K-SDGs) which is its country-specific goals and targets towards sustainable development. K-SDGs are to take into consideration of national needs, public demand, and level of development as well as Korea's economic, social, and environmental circumstances.

In the process of developing the National Goals for Sustainable Development of Korea (K-SDGs), the Korean Government recognizes the need for an opportunity for relevant government agencies to learn from international organizations with SDGs expertise and those countries with best practices in national SDGs implementation as well as to listen to views and expectations of various stakeholders including the civil society and academia.
