Activities
The United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) promotes sustainability through mapping of actors and resources, research on policy-relevant areas with critical gaps, knowledge exchange and capacity development, as well as providing policy advisory services and nurturing partnerships among relevant stakeholders.

2017 Sustainable Development Transition Forum
The 2017 SDTF will be convened from 30 October - 1 November 2017 in Incheon, Republic of Korea. The forum will build on its 2016 outcomes and insights and help create a bridge between the 2017 High Level Political Forum's thematic focus of "Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world" and the 2018 HLPF thematic focus of "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies" including the HLPF's attention in 2018 to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Production and Consumption), and SDG 15 (Life on Land). NAP Regional EXPO and NAP Regional Training Workshop
The workshop is being co-organized by the National Adaptation Plan Global Support Programme (NAP-GSP), a joint United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) led initiative, financed by the Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF) and the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF), the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), and the Korean Environment Institute (KEI)-Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change (KACCC). The workshop will be facilitated by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The training is a direct response to the request made by NAP-GSP supported countries, to address specific needs through the topics that they have considered most relevant to support their NAPs - in this case, how to mainstream climate change adaptation into water resources. 2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors' Forum
UNOSD will host a session on "Local solutions to global challenges: Making our cities and communities more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable (to make) cities as part of the solution to sustainable development" during the 2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors Forum, taking place in Daejon, Republic of Korea, on the 10-13 September 2017. SDGs Summer Camp for College Students
To promote the role of youth community in implementing the SDGs in the Republic of Korea, the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) hosted the SDGs Summer Camp for college students in collaboration with Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, Yonsei University and Incheon National University on 17-19 July 2017 in RCE Tongyeong, Republic of Korea. Executive Training Course for Policymakers on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
To focus on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development Goals, the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) organized the Executive Training Course for Policymakers on the 203 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from 24 to 28 April 2017 in Incheon, Republic of Korea.

SIDS Preparatory Meeting for Ocean Conference on SDG 14
To reach the goal of conserving and sustainably using oceans, seas and marine resources, the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD)and the Division of Sustainable Development of UN DESA organized the SIDS Preparatory Meeting for Ocean Conference on SDG 14 from 28 to 31 March 2017 at the Kensington Jeju Hotel, Jeju Island, Republic of Korea.
